Jeroen Duis becomes Chief Technology Officer of PHIX
The technology roadmap of PHIX is closely matched to the industry trends and customer needs that help us reach our ambitious goals. To further improve the synergy between our technological and business development, Jeroen Duis has moved to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at PHIX.
As former Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at PHIX with a long history as an engineer, inventor, business developer, and manager in the integrated photonics industry, Jeroen’s strategic insight, deep technical expertise, and market knowledge make him a perfect fit for the CTO role.
Jeroen’s close connection to the sales team, which he built from the ground up over the past five years, will certainly not disappear. Together with Marcel van Veen, who as Sales Director now joins the PHIX management team, Jeroen will further develop our customer base and ensure that our technology closely supports their needs, in line with PHIX’s scale-up toward volume manufacturing of photonic (integrated circuit) modules and MEMS.

Under Marcel’s lead the PHIX sales organization has been expanding in order to provide our worldwide customers with photonics packaging solutions that support their innovations. Pictured here behind Jeroen and Marcel is the team located in Enschede, The Netherlands, further consisting of Sherif Soliman, Ibrahim Imrak, Andrea Alippi, and Roelof Brits. This team will be expanded further in the near future.
Further business development and sales is carried out in the United States by the recently established entity PHIX Inc. Vice President of Sales Stefan Heinemann is also looking for new additions to his team operating out of Bozeman, Montana.
